From the investment side, the biggest challenge is the regulation side, as well as the technological development of blockchain, which hasn’t seen a big improvement over the recent few years. E-Crypto News:

In the area of specialization that you covered at the CIS, what is the greatest challenge faced currently?

Will Augmented and Virtual Reality applications drive crypto adoption? The biggest hurdle to crypto adoption is the actual user experience. Exchanges are difficult to navigate, and the general public is bombarded by FUD pushed out by governments and mass media. Once AR and VR hardware come with hardware wallets pre-installed, we’re going to see an explosion of usage of cryptocurrencies whether the consumer recognizes that’s what they’re doing or not.

E-Crypto News:

What solutions can be proffered to these challenges?

Well if you think about it, blockchain does a fantastic job of keeping tabs on digital assets. It can watermark them in such a way that eliminates fraud while also enabling scarcity such as one-off collectibles. That’s going to be important in the future as virtual and augmented realities reach mass adoption and they increasingly require access to stable, trusted data as well as enforcing digital identities. I just can’t see any way the future like we see in Iron Man with AR or in Ready Player One with VR can be built on anything other than blockchain.

E-Crypto News:

What is the single most important message you want to pass across to the audience and to the world concerning cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology?

In the near future people wearing Apple’s AR Glasses will be able to purchase whatever they’re looking at, and that purchase is going to be made with Crypto. It simply has to be to get to scale globally.
