The redesign of Marco Restaurant by FMJPC Aquitetura kept the original elements of the interior and highlighted them with a subtle change of colors and furniture. The visual contrasts within the space were achieved thanks to stark navy flower beds, dark wood tables and insets of blue paint.
An open bar vibrates with burgundy tiles and a variety of colorful alcohols on display while architects added a fresh touch to the restaurant with green ivy plants climbing the concrete walls. The interior is illuminated with big, minimalist lamps and visible kegs in a shade of vintage brass. A sense of unassuming elegance speaks through the project that’s kept the original ambience of the building and refreshed it with modern touches.
