Aventus Network Launches Aventus Gateway

In major step towards making blockchain more accessible for businesses
~The Gateway API simplifies and makes accessible the building and maintenance of enterprise-grade Web3 applications on the Aventus Network~
London – 03 March 2022: The Aventus Network – the full service enterprise blockchain solution that brings scalability, speed, lower costs and interoperability to blockchain transactions – today announced the launch of the Aventus Gateway API. Gateway enables businesses to easily build blockchain applications and run live transactions on the Aventus Network (AvN) – a fast, low-cost, scalable framework that is fully interoperable with other blockchain ecosystems.
With the Aventus Gateway API, businesses can easily integrate AvN into new and existing technical solutions through a maintenance-free and always-on API. Aventus Gateway API will accelerate the development of a wide range of Web3 utilities on the AvN, from cashback frameworks and ticketing systems to metaverse applications like non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces.
Aventus is also in the process of integrating with Polkadot, providing complete interoperability with the Polk ecosystem for Gateway users in addition to cross-chain compatibility with Ethereum.
The Aventus Gateway API has already undergone a successful trial round with payment rewards platform CashbackAppAdditionally, online video game content streaming platform fruitlab has shifted their community rewards framework onto the Gateway framework. For companies moving to the AvN, the transaction settlement time is significantly reduced from days to seconds, further streamlining the onboarding process.
Gateway is also powering blockchain transactions for Parity NFT – an NFT marketplace empowering female athletes to earn revenue outside of the gender pay disparity seen in professional sports. Built in partnership with Aventus’ VereNFT white-label solution, Parity Athletes can mint, market and sell NFT artwork to fans.
Alan Vey, Co-Founder and CEO of the Aventus Network, said: “Building applications on blockchain has, to date, been too complicated, expensive and time consuming. This user / developer experience problem, coupled with concerns about future-proofing and cross-chain compatibility, has created a barrier to entry slowing down the adoption of the technology, despite the huge potential of blockchain. The launch of the Aventus Gateway API removes these obstacles, enabling businesses to build solutions that can grow and adapt at pace with the ever-changing blockchain sector.”
Cameron Leslie, MD of fruitlab, added: “When we were initially looking at using blockchain to power our community rewards program, we had concerns around choosing the right technology. Is it going to require huge amounts of maintenance work? Are we locked into one ecosystem forever? But the Aventus Gateway framework has opened the door for us, giving us a truly scalable, simple solution with the flexibility we need. It’s been very easy to integrate PIP – our universal gaming rewards token – into the AvN, and NFTs are now firmly on our roadmap. We’re also looking forward to the interoperability that Aventus’ integration with Polkadot will bring, enabling us to further scale the PIP ecosystem. As far as fruitlab is concerned, the sky’s the limit!”
