Every NFT sold can help 20 people access life-saving vaccines
ZUG – Partisia Blockchain, an internet privacy infrastructure developed for the greater good, and (RED), the pandemic fighting organization co-founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver, are joining forces to help raise money to support urgent and equitable access to COVID-19 relief in response to the ongoing and devastating impact of the virus in the world’s poorest countries.
On May 23rd, the two organizations are commissioning some of the hottest artists in the NFT space, including Adamtastic, ArinaBB, Saif Chilmiran, David Filer, Jakub Malec, MrSeaks for a special one-week-only NFT drop that will raise funds to fight COVID-19 in Africa where countries continue to focus on addressing urgent vaccination demand and delivery challenges. Every NFT sold can help roughly 20 people access life-saving vaccines. 100% of proceeds of every first sale will support the Global Fund’s COVID Response Mechanism and the Gavi COVAX Advance Market Commitment (AMC) and thanks to generous matching funds made available through Global Fund and Gavi sponsors, every dollar raised through this partnership will be doubled. The Partisia Blockchain Foundation is also offering ongoing utility for the holders (owners) of the NFT’s which are purchased with the donation. NFT holders will be granted early access to the Partisia Blockchain public launch on May 31, as well as guaranteed access to future UN Sustainable Development goal projects which are currently under development, such as the “Healthies” project; A counterfeit medicine detection platform which runs on the Partisia Blockchain and aims to eradicate the $200 billion dollar per year counterfeit medicine trade in Africa.
