In continuation of our support for diversity we look for stories that openly do the same. Several projects within the space continue to show how diverse humanity is.
One of these projects is the Diversity Ladies NFT Project which was initiated by Hanna, a Dutch artist who has focused on promoting the diversity of humanity.
We reached out to Hanna and her team about their new NFT project. It was insightful and revealing.

What is the Diversity Ladies NFT project?
Diversity Ladies is a women lead NFT project. The collection will comprise of 7777 NFT’s celebrating
women who embrace their diversity with pride.Besides the great art, Diversity Ladies has a strong community and a roadmap with utility where we give back to our community.
Our strength is that we support business start-ups within our community.

What inspired the project?
As a mother, I see bullying and exclusion in my children at school from an early age.
This can make them feel that they are not good enough, that they are different, that they have to adapt to others.
This really touches me.I teach my children that they are good just the way they are, that everyone is different and that this uniqueness makes us beautiful and we should embrace it instead of adapting to what is desirable.
I wish them a future where everyone is treated equally and they can be who they are.
This inspired me to assign the theme Diversity and Inclusion to Diversity Ladies.

How have you maintained consistency in your craft?
I started the project singlehandedly as founder and artist.
But Diversity Ladies quickly grew and I gathered a team around me so that I could continue to focus on the art. We also involved the Diversity Ladies community.
They provided images of things they would like to see reflected in the art.
I incorporated the images in my drawings, so we make art with our community, we strengthen our community and I do what I love to do; making art.

Yes I can.
I am Hanna, a Dutch artist, mother of two girls.
I am the founder and artist of Diversity Ladies.
Eva is also Dutch and she is our Marketing and e-commerce advisor.
Shweta is from the US and she is responsible for the PR of the project.
We have two great community managers, Abdel and Joyce, and beside them are working three moderators.
We are a fully doxxed team.

What’s the secret behind 7,777 NFTs?
In my life I always come across double numbers or the numbers 12.34.
These are called angel numbers.
Because I've come across this all my life, I thought it was special to use it in the project.

How did you get involved with NFTs?
Since 2017 I have been in crypto, especially long holds.
At the beginning of 2021 I came into touch with NFTs for the first time. Especially buying. My idea was to buy and flip for quick profit.
But in the end I mainly bought blue chips (long holds).
Because I was the only one active with NFTs in my area and it is still emerging, I thought I’d make a beginners course for newcomers to NFT.
I have almost completed this course.
Until I got the idea to also create a chapter “make your own NFT project”.
Well… that’s when the idea arose to set up my own NFT project.
I thought if I want this to be part of my course, then I must have successfully completed the entire process myself at least once.
So you will definitely see this journey back in the course.
I knew right away that I wanted to link this to Diversity and Inclusion.
It is very important to me that everyone can express themselves freely and feel accepted.
I grabbed the digital brush and started creating.
The rest is history…

I think that with this project we are making great strides in awareness of diversity and inclusion
for women in the WEB3.I sincerely hope that the WEB3 will become a reflection of our society, in which not everyone is the same, but everyone is unique and can show that.
Fortunately, we see more and more women lead projects asking for awareness for women in the WEB3. More and more women are entering the WEB3 so I see a bright future for women in the WEB3.
